Yoga & meditation for biorhythmic health.
“Life & living / Loving & kissing / Heart beating away / Breath & breathing / Emotions & feelings have something to say” - “Communication” by Yogi Bhajan
On emotional intelligence. Emotions are just information. Emotions very important to observe because they tell you where things are off, where you need to think differently & how things need to change.
We are normal people & that doesn’t mean pretending not to be human. You should have feelings. There are so many weirdo Piscean spiritual clichés still out there, like that you should be passive or not stand up for yourself or not have feelings. You should have feelings, they show you more about how to follow through on your conscious desires.
We’re not taught emotional intelligence or maturity, so in today’s culture whoever has the louder emotions wins because we’re really not equipped to deal with anybody’s emotions, including our own. This is why “I statements” & taking ownership of yourself is so important, as well as classroom yogic techniques like letting kids take a minute to breathe if they get upset so people can learn emotional regulation from day one.
Yoga & meditation help you process stuck emotions in the body, mind & psyche, & help you command your thoughts so you have more of a handle on your emotions in the first place.
Yogi Bhajan said if you just actually feel your emotions, they leave in seconds (less than a minute). It’s repressing them that creates tension & dis-ease.
New moon reset. You always have a window of about 72 hours after the new moon to continue to implement new energy.
The long road of defining causality in yogic science/medicine—complicated for many reasons, not the least of which because of there are always manifold mechanisms at play. “Science” is about observing/theorizing isolated mechanisms of causality. “Don’t blame the scientists...Science is great, but science is slow.” - Yogi Bhajan
High Class Human Beings
Special Venus Gate Opening class
“can we speak in flowers? / it will be easier for me to understand.” - Nayyirah Waheed
“Love you just the way you are.” - Sir Billy Joel
Love is acceptance.
On a special astrological alignment day, pour love into the universe for maximum results.
Logic & common sense are the gateway to your wisdom & intuition, which are other words for acceptance & understanding. Developing clairaudience & clairsentience.
Then you need forgiveness & compassion to navigate & uplift what you see & understand. Countering negativity or confusion with positivity & clarity.
You can’t see clearly if you’re in any negativity at all. “There’s no logic in the negative...There’s no shortage of opportunities, but if you use the negative you won’t have enough energy to make use of them...
“We’re not in the business of convincing people what to believe.” - Harijiwan
Yogi Bhajan said if you have more tolerance than others, just enjoy it.
You should never feel bad or guilty for being happy or successful, just do your best to help others. We want everyone to be together because you can’t give from an underfull cup. By the same token, it rarely works to be mean to people to achieve your ends. Build people up & let them make better decisions on their own.
Yogi Bhajan said we always want to tell people what to do, but the highest gift you can give anyone is to encourage them so their self-esteem is great. We want everyone to be themselves & achieve what they want to.
You can’t be too put-together; there are so many people to help.
A-Game Radiance & Beauty
Immense Grace Beauty Weekend
Take back your health, beauty, energy & vitality. Honor the biological cycles. As Women, our existence has been weaponized against us. In this amazing Immense Grace class, Guru Jagat shares the teachings around yogic Radiance and restructuring, so you can have the capacity to maneuver your physical body, as well as your true goddess self. You put out a certain projection, and that is how you will be seen.
Physical form is a vehicle. A car. Ek Ong Kar. The frequency of wisdom moving through time and space.
"If you don't know how to drive the car, don't chant Ek Ong Kar" - Yogi Bhajan.
Fear of aging, death & the future as well as patriarchal science has completely obscured our natural ability to take care of ourselves in a capable, flexible way. Become your most naturally energetic, happy, relaxed, beautiful & radiant self.
Open up natural fertility, virility & aging options with glandular & hormonal yogic tech.
Beauty tactics & training. Immense Grace workshop.
Yogi Bhajan, who brought kundalini yoga to the world starting in the 1960s, said that health was just beauty. It is an outer reflection of proper nutrition & good physical condition. Things like rosy cheeks or clear skin are just signs of well-functioning circulation or a parasympathetic nervous system, etc.
Therefore, the makeup/beauty industry is just an outer attempt to demonstrate inner health & arguably a waste of time. Your emotional health directly impacts your physical health, so spiritual values like peace, kindness, compassion & forgiveness just make you look hotter. That’s why beauty has been so glorified: it’s a sign of health on all levels.
As a kundalini yogi, you can learn to completely control & command your glandular system, health & emotions. Commanding your internal health & accepting your natural radiance.
Everything created by “God” or whatever you want to call it is impossibly beautiful, & we can live in vast daily appreciation of all that is.
The “Whole Foods” (not knocking Jeff Bezos) industrial complex is, as Mark Singleton puts it, “unchurched Protestant religiosity,” meaning that the wellness industry has overlaid the guilt complexes of leisure-class white femininity onto your health & wellness. Don’t feel guilty, learn how to feel better & then your health/beauty will really mean something.
Yogi Bhajan said if you just feel your feelings, they’ll leave in 15 seconds. Emotions are information. Repression is where problems come in. Our word for free feminine energy is “shakti” & it is essentially confidence.
Radiance comes from self-trust & being able to find your center,

Planning for Plan D
Meditation for when nothing else works.
You HAVE to plan for things going wrong. Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. One can never be overprepared. Ideally, you should never be caught without a plan (& there are usually good precedents for plans if you do your research).
Planning for many potential changes in procedure. Taking responsibility for what you can. It feels great to be, as the Girl Scouts say, “always prepared,” & there’s a wonderful feeling of victory that accompanies knowing you at least tried to prevent major issues.
As yogis, we know that you prepare for parenthood for 3 lifetimes. Passing down practical skills of perseverance & grit to your kids. “There is a way through every block.”
(Midwest queen) Jen Saltiel’s birthday!
One thing to do if things go awry is to reset the navel point, a fast way to get back in gear. But we also have tons of meditations & yoga sets for crisis, upset & emergency.
Get It How You Live It
Yoga & meditations for balance & healing.
“She’s 12 years old, -- going on 20-to-life. / She is God at 5 feet tall. / But, abre la puerta, / open the door and let her in...
“Old Florencia lives in the parking garage / at the university, with her bags and packs / on the floor all around. / She washes her 84-year-old body in the sink at the library, / with a piece of flannel from her deceased husband’s pajamas. / Abre la puerta, she is God...
“Remember that old abuelita, / your grandest grandmother? / how she staggered toward you / on legs so thin? You were just a baby then. / And she smiled all over your infant self, / as you rose young and steaming from the void. / That was God in her abuelita form / crying with joy just to see you.
“Que, que, que, bebebebita!” says the grandmother God. “Look,” she says, “I opened a door in my belly for your mother. ¡Miré! ¡Look! your mother opened a door in her belly for you.
“Ah, this grandmother, you can see God through her. God is a grandmother. / Remember that red room where you grew? / That was God. / Remember the warm hands that received you?
“That was God. / Remember your father’s hands holding your face / As though it were a jewel? / In that moment, God shone through...
“Oh world who is young, and has loved so deeply, / and been so betrayed, / whose skin hangs like rags, / whose arms have no muscle, / whose eyes have lost luster —
“Open the door of your heartache, / step through the door of your betrayal, / pass through the hole in your heart, / Pass through!”
— “Abre La Puerta, Open The Door” by Clarissa Pinkola Estes
Siddhi of Angels
Yogic practices for dignity.
There are tons of various yogic powers (AKA “siddhis”) that accompany your practice: psychic powers, elemental powers, healing powers, even compassion. Yogis have always been countercultural because a lot of them weren’t using their powers to benefit society. That’s why Guru Ram Das is the king of yogis & all the schools of yoga bowed to him: compassion is the greatest siddhi of all.
Skirting the psy-op.
Getting as much mystical energy as you can.
It’s worth noting true intuition as defined by Yogi Bhajan: intuition is the purpose of all of our practices, & it is verbal, comes in very specifically “like a teletype” through the solar centers on top of the head. It should be surprising (i.e. words you may not have heard before) & it’s something you can hone & refine.
We are the first generation of yogis on the planet to experiment to such a great degree with this massive of an arsenal of yogic practices.
You can mentally recite mantras; it’s just as powerful as reciting them aloud.
New Year’s Day
New year, new practice, new art, new love.
“In God’s love / for you alone /
Life unfolds / Like a silken cone unwinds /
And we are all woven / One with God / Strands of silk / Sacred & divine /
The drums of war are loud & clear / But hope of peace is also near / If the word of God will lead the people / And compassion will flow with the beat of the heart /
The human race will find its essence. / Let us pray for love of peace / Let us pray for love of truth / Let us pray for everyone to pray for the innocent in bondage / Miles & miles away /
Tortured by men with earthly authority / Actions so far away from morality / in my prayer, I wish you the wealth of peace / to make beautiful our tomorrow /
Where human beings can live in love. / Forever free from sorrow.” - Prayer for a Happy New Year by Yogi Bhajan
Full Cancer Moon
Yoga, prayer & meditation.
Using the full moon to expand & amplify the energy that you want.
On relationships, neutral mind & the necessity of the ego structure.
Using your neutral mind as a way to sit above reactivity. Most people are unbelievably reactive. Making people feel better.
Going into a prayer space. When you pray for others, you always get positive energy back.
Caution to the Wise
Yoga & meditation for intelligence.
If you’re going to do things that are objectively damaging to your body, like hard drugs or something, you need to critically examine how much you can actually handle, which is unbelievably difficult because the whole point of external substances is that they get away from you & vastly overpower & damage your mind more than you could have anticipated.
The whole point of human knowledge is to make it a little easier on the future so they’re not wildly guessing in the dark. And you can never 100% undo anything.
Yogi Bhajan said marijuana is the sickest drug on this planet neurophysiologically, an important perspective because literally no one explains how bad it actually is for your brain.
The intelligence meditation will help you not freak out or do stupid/self-harming things. “Close your eyes / Fall in love / Stay there.” - Rumi
Like Bells in the Distance
Meditation & yoga for balance, clarity & empowerment.
“There’s no time to waste / There’s so much to celebrate / Believe in what you feel inside / & give your dreams the wings to fly” - Josh Groban
On the hyper-invasive & controlling nature of social media platforms.
Destiny vs. fate & raising your frequency. Love frees you from fear & gives you clear & free seeing & thinking.
Feeling empowered so you can live your life.
Science is such an enormous field & ultimately a broad curiosity & style of observance, it’s not something “to believe in” or not.
“There is no ‘scientific worldview’ just as there is no uniform enterprise ‘science’- except in the minds of metaphysicians, school masters, & scientists blinded by the achievements of their own particular niche...Science is an essentially anarchic enterprise. [“Reading Feyerabend is like taking a cold shower.”]” - Feyerabend
Peace on Earth & Mercy Mild
Yoga for a balanced life.
“The weary world rejoicing...”
Getting in rhythm with ‘breath of fire.’
Handling what you can handle. You’re the one managing your life & sometimes you can’t stay up all night reading about Robert Anton Wilson & David Icke.
Entertaining new ideas should always be adding to your worldview. It’s when we get locked down into one view that we are hostile to new input. Awareness of the facts.
On the other hand, everyone’s also dealing with infodementia (the sheer amount of information the human brain has to process today in one day is what a 15th century person would have processed in their entire lives).
Add to the complexity the fact that we are all divided by our common language (words are inherently contextual & it’s impossible to know what people mean by key terms until you spend enough time understanding their personal lexicon)—Yogi Bhajan said, “words don’t mean anything” (that’s gyan yoga), & you really need daily meditation to sort your brain out.
Objectivity in journalism is rare.
Failing Upwards & the Thunderbolt of Compassion
Yoga for compassion.
Awakening to compassion, which is simply accepting of other people.
Most people are not self-compassionate enough or have high enough self esteem to identify with their soul or spirit, instead of getting their validation from their viewpoints.
Practicing compassion. Recognizing beauty & hard work & everything you’ve added, & exalting that. “If you don’t love where you’ve been, you can’t love where you’re going.” - Harijiwan
Quantum field of pure & wholesome curiosity. Praying on everything right.
A RA MA Festival workshop for balance & to experience your divinity.
A very special Winter Solstice yoga class.
It’s a very powerful wormhole in which to put your highest intentions, projection & prayer.
Become very strong so you can be relaxed, happy, & never fall apart.
Rooting in the earth & the galactic heavens. “When you can’t keep up, just keep up.”
Stretching the sciatic nerve twice a day.
Triple Self Energy
Yoga for energetic strength.
Using the incredibly potent post-solstice window from now until the end of the year to make a quantum meditative shift in your own neurology & yogic architecture.
This is the most powerful energetic window of our lives & it’s important to do yoga & be very positive during it!
Yoga & meditation for intelligence.
On the miraculous powers of saliva.
Using the pre-solstice window to deeply accelerate your meditative accomplishment. “This year, this week before solstice is the most important week of your life.”
It’s always important to have a good sense of humor about life.
Expanding the Aura
Yoga & meditation for happiness.
If you’re living a creative, engaged & responsible life, the aura naturally expands.
Everything we do in kundalini yoga & meditation is designed to augment & expand the aura. If your aura is under a few feet, you’re automatically depressed because you simply don’t have enough energy to power your vehicle.
Once it’s at a healthy size, it’s impossible for you to be depressed. In nature the aura is automatically 9 feet in every direction, the healthy size. But in congested cities, with poor nutrition & stress, the aura shrinks. You can grow it to be much larger than 9 feet too!
Having good clean fun (i.e. doing creative projects that make you happy) & wearing white all expand the aura as natural depression prevention.
Deepen your practice with custom workshops taught by Guru Jagat.
