Yoga & meditations for cleansing.
The digestive system is connected to the subtle body. When you allow the digestion to relax a bit, you can replenish the subtlety of the soul.
Cleaning the blood and organs through breath, movement and food.
Kundalini yoga really has nothing to do with new age culture (although we agree that we are moving into a "new age")—new age culture is "unchurched Protestant religiosity" (Mark Singleton). Ultimately the culture is full of Western cliches and orientalism, and what we have is richer, realer, more standardized and clearer than that. An understanding of the reality of the human system, which kundalini yoga offers, are objective and from that you can play your life the way you want.
There are three levels of truth: "One is the individual truth which a individual knows. The other is a circumstantial truth which individual knows under the given circumstances. The whole geography, the nature relates to a man and man to a nature and there are certain truths which you know. And one is a universal truth which is beyond space and time." - Yogi Bhajan
Growing Up the Nation
Using your energy to help.
There's an agenda to make humanity seem more divided than we actually are.
You should use the energy you get from kundalini yoga to serve, give back, and self-educate.
It's very simple: being sensitive to yourself allows you to be sensitive to others.
Rebuilding the world will take a lot of understanding, planning, and compassionate judiciousness. We all need each other. We have examples of people who grew up without other humans: feral children.
"Karma" just means cause and effect. If we don't build righteous culture, we won't have righteous culture.
Just by being a yogi, when someone who is upset a hundred yards away looks at you, they should immediately feel calm, soothed and comforted by the strength, security, calmness and light of your presence.
"America is young all the time and does not care. There is no rule, no virtue, because we are not a very meditative nation. But now we are learning a lesson. We got chili in our nose. Now we know we have to change. One day you will come out and realize how virtuous you are, how valuable you are, how this precious time is given to you so you can act on yourself so that you can turn from human into an angel...Every moment you have to concentrate on your purity...
We are Americans, but we do not want to follow this, pimp and prostitute culture of America...I asked my Guru, stand by my side, Guru stood by my side and I ate up America, I will, because no American can live this prostitution, which they are living...America is a great nation in a total mess, we live in a chaos we do not talk about it, we do not have any culture whatsoever and we talk of culture. We do not have any values and we talk of values, we are a bunch of exploiters and bloodsuckers as a nation...
We are very funny people, especially in the Western cultures. American culture teaches individuality, though basically man is a social animal. American culture nevertheless believes that survival is achieved through individuality...
America needs peace, it needs love. It needs tons of smiles. It needs us—we the people...
Conditional love is evil...For God's sake whenever you go and meet somebody...try to inspire people with your smile, and give them the soul through your touch, jump-start, every American knows when the battery fails jump-start...You have to say it to yourself, you have to feel it yourself, you have to practice it yourself...hail Guru Ram Das and heal the world and walk on this path, walk tall, walk with grace, with dignity, so that your Divinity can just touch many hearts...
It's very simple thing, as I look at it. We killed Indians and we brought Blacks from Africa, where we got to. We treated Mexicans as aliens and we got into groupism in United States...We have no consideration of each other's sentiments, we don't respect each other thoughts, each other territory. We have absolutely no respect for individual. We just want to control everybody and create our domain. How destructive more you can be? We treat our children like furniture, we treat our maids like just a dependent beggar. There is no honor, there is no role of honor. And if it is true there is no role of honor; how you can be honored? If you do not have a rule of honor here, how you can be honored in the court of God? With what face you are going?” - Yogi Bhajan
