To truly immerse ourselves in this soulful experience, we will live and practice in the 14th century hermitage situated in the mystical mountains of Cura on the island of Mallorca. Sant Honorat is surrounded by peace and silence, it’s a true hidden gem even though it’s located only a 30min drive from the Palma airport.

We encourage you to spend some alone time in all three beautiful chapels and nature/view spots surrounding the vast grounds of the Monastery. The energy is very supportive of inviting your most authentic inner prayer and spiritual connection.

The congregation and community living at Sant Honorat value simplicity, modesty and humility as an overall way of life. During our retreat we will honour those principles and focus on deep inner work, silent contemplation and harmonious community living. 

We’ll be honouring the invitation of the Sant Honorat team to participate in community living by contributing to setting the dining room tables, chopping vegetables, serving food, helping with washing up the dishes and clearing the dining room area. Padre Miquel- our dear friend and head of Sant Honorat encourages us to feel at home in the Monastery.

During our previous stays there, he said to our group that it’s important we understand Sant Honorat is not a hotel. He invited us to see our stay there as an opportunity to truly come together and contribute to enriching our experience as a group. Spending time with Padre Miguel and his team when helping them with simple tasks made us feel included in a day to day life of the congregation and brought us a lot of joy. Many of our fondest memories were created when chatting about life whilst washing up the dishes with the Sant Honorat team, or picking up herbs for the dinner.
