Mitra is an Usui Reiki Master and teacher, energy healer, intuitive, wife, mom and friend. In 2014 she moved to Los Angeles and founded Venice Holistic Energy Healing. In 2018, at the request of one of her clients, she started teaching Reiki. She is trained to Master Teacher level in both Western and Japanese Reiki and teaches predominantly Japanese Reiki as she believes it gives the best foundation for a Reiki education.
