Dancing in the Dark…
Mercury comes to a standstill early in the week as it prepares for its retrograde turn on Halloween. Expect communications & electronics to be a bit glitchy in this witchy season. The Scorpio deep dive continues until the planet turns direct on November 20, though we’re not out of the woods until December 7th, when Mercury returns to its turnaround position.
Scorpio yearns for an intense experience of life, so we all may be thinking and talking and feeling deeeeeeeply. You may be seeing different layers and tangents of recurring themes. There’s a reason for it – connect the dots! Conjunctions with Venus & Pallas Athena amp up our relationship retrospectives, as well as our own need and purpose for independence. Watch for Venus to move into Sagittarius on Friday, moving our finances and romances toward more adventurous horizons.
Hallow’s Eve…
Allhallowtide marks the shift toward the darker months of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere). These holy (hallowed) days (akin to Samhain and Dia de Muertos) recognize the thinning of the veils between worlds. We give homage and remembrance to the dead, with rituals and blessings offered to see us through the dark months ahead. Keep an eye out for the Sagittarius Moon and Jupiter in close proximity to one another as trick-or-treaters venture out into the night.
Time Flies…
Daylight Savings Time ends in the early hours of Sunday morning, November 3rd. We’ll gain an hour as time “falls” backwards… except in Arizona and the islands of Hawaii, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, & the Virgin Islands, where time and Planet Earth spin on just the same.
