When you wish upon a star…
We begin the week with Meteor Showers from neighboring constellations in our southern skies: The Southern Delta Aquarid and the Alpha Capricornid Meteor Showers are both at their peak Monday and Tuesday. (They’ll continue for the next couple of weeks.) The ancients saw meteors as gifts from heaven, representing a bridge between the realm of man and the Divine. They usher in change, so make a wish or two upon a shooting star.
The dark of the moon…
The darkened skies of Wednesday’s “Black Moon” – the second New Moon of the month – will make for easier viewing of those meteor showers, and will empower our wishes and intentions as the blank slate and potential of the New Moon comes into full light and fruition. This Leo Super New Moon shines a light into all the emotional and life upheaval of Eclipse Season. With Mercury coming out of retrograde on the same day, there’s a renewed opportunity for clarity and making sense of all we’ve been learning.
We’re also within the portal of Lion’s Gate now, which we’ll be feeling full force next week on 8.8. A cosmic ray is beaming into our lives, elevating our consciousness and connecting us to our own Divine and destiny. How will you rise?
(P.S. Europe, Asia, and Australia recognize their Black Moon at the end of August, as this New Moon falls on August 1st for them…)
