In Astrology, the two primary feminine, receptive planets are the Moon and Venus – not a lot to work with. In the 19th century an asteroid belt was discovered in our galaxy between the planets Mars and Jupiter. As with all planetary bodies, each object was named. This time, they were named after the great goddesses of antiquity. Thus the feminine canon grew exponentially.

The first four of these asteroids were named Ceres, Vesta, Pallas Athene and Juno – goddesses requesting and activating our attention, our power, recognition, justice and equality. This feminine reawakening once hidden is now viewable in our natal astrology charts.
