Male and female energies are recognized as the most powerful defining energies in the polarity play of creation. Though fluid, this polarity does exist, and knowing how to wield this dynamic delivers a great amount of power.
Though each individual varies in the degree to which they identify with a particular polarity, the general yogic teaching is that biological females utilize 60% female energy and 40% male energy, whereas biological males utilize 60% male energy and 40% female energy. Again, this is a broad lens teaching, but it acknowledges that we need to understand and embrace the characteristics of both the male and female energies within ourselves and within our relationships. As yogis, we consciously utilize the male and female energies in order to enjoy the dynamic play of polarities.
When it comes to relationships, it is the feminine polarity that has most of the power, but it is wielded in a subtle way. Did you know that it is the feminine that begins and ends all relationships? That the feminine contains the masculine? And that the feminine projection that can uplift and transform any dynamic? ABOUT GIANGEET
Originally from Suriname, Giangeet began practicing Kundalini Yoga almost 10 years ago in Los Angeles. Having practiced some form of Yoga all her life, she was drawn to the power of the Kundalini Yoga practice and the way it can integrate itself in all aspects of our lives. She is particularly drawn to the teachings of Yogic Style (as she calls it) and the female-male relationship teachings which are her specialties. Giangeet’s offerings overflow with the sophistication and grace that defines Kundalini Yoga.
Giangeet is a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor and has accomplished many yogic feats throughout her journey. She has completed over 30 White Tantric Yoga courses, where it has been said that each of these events is equivalent to meditating 10 years in a cave. Giangeet has completed the mystical meditation at the steps of Goindwal in India, a physical meditation taking more than 20 hours to complete and said to liberate 84,000 cycles of life and birth.
Giangeet has a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in both mathematics and engineering giving her a special relationship with the geometry, energy, and science behind the sacred tools of consciousness that she creates.
