Turning Inward

Join Shabadpreet for this crash course in mastering your mood.  The class consists of a series of small and simple exercises that anyone can do to instantly shift a challenging moment or mood.  Followed by a short yoga practice for optimizing your feel-good capacity.

This class begins with meditative pranayama, gently working with the right and left nostrils to balance the two hemispheres of the brain-sun and moon, logic and intuition, analytical and imaginative. We tune into the internal sound current of Sat Nam, the truth of identity that resonates at the core of your being.

We close with a Bhakti meditation-a devotional practice to awaken the spirit of love and surrender. Where the path of Shakti emphasizes activation, and the dynamic force of becoming through creation, the path of Bhakti is the path of pure devotion, longing, and union through higher love.
