Save the Last Dance

Everybody knows love is the point of life, but Yogi Bhajan coined another term, “scientific love,” to purify the incredibly toxic animalistic love of the New Age that began in the 1960s and still unfortunately has a strong holdover today. (Refer to his best quote: “People of new age confused, people of personal essence perfect.”)

There are all kinds of love and it’s important to be appropriate to the specific relationship. Things like age are important; we’re not just souls, we’re in human bodies and it is inappropriate to not acknowledge our human existence. Therefore there’s appropriate and different ways to love everyone, from an acquaintance to a grandma to a romantic interest.

Your own specificity in life matters too. Cycles of consciousness change as you grow up and there’s different ways to treat yourself as you get older. Life cycles are helpful to know when you’ll go through particularly challenging times.

In your life, things will always be changes, so you don’t just want things to be calm and pretty all the time; you also need the ability to catch up or jump ahead or deal with crisis. However, you also need to be on top of yourself and prepare as much as possible.

Most of the time we're aiming blind. Sagittarius is all about aiming true, and letting the bow follow through on your goal. We want to demand the exact intention. We are one teeny tiny planet in a huge universe (which may be one of many), full of trillions of galaxies full of billions of stars. It is foolish to not demand what you need on this little earth matrix. There is no lack. We have to stand up and take the throne of our dynasty.

The tide is high during eclipse season. Your whole sensory system is activated which is why you feel everything more. Listen to insights on eclipses and what you can do to optimize their powerful potential. You have options as far as how to command it. That is your skill as a yogi. It’s not all about staying present. You must be prepared. That way you can be of use, serve others and be victorious tomorrow.

Learn how to open up and relate to your own majesty and hold it with the kundalini practice in this class. Do things that help you use heightened cosmic energy in the most productive way but take it too seriously either. The joke is on us. It’s a cosmic initiation. This is a self-initiation age. Use your spiritual practice to behave well. Appropriate your energy and the energy of the cosmos to hold the ‘hot potato’ aka sensitization of the human mind as best as you can. Channelize your nervous system in this practice. Work with the zero angle in this class. Clean out your emotions and neuroses. Keep it clean and neutral.
