In an industrialized age, we are forcibly inconsiderate of our own bodies, which require attentive care. For example, Yogi Bhajan said Americans have a bad habit of not relieving themselves when they need to, which throws the navel point off in such a way that is very difficult to recover. Or, take his example that repressing a sneeze is dangerous because it is the body trying to bring itself back into alignment by stimulating the vagus nerve. In other cultures a sneeze is storied as the ancestors' blessing, and in the West we have our language. It all comes down to a very natural care and keeping of the human form.
Other random but handy humanology tips include: stopping the flow of urination 5-8 times prevents kidney stones, eating with the hands puts prana from the hands into the food, wearing extra cloth on the navel point (like a cummerbund) keeps it from being thrown off, and rubbing the back of the kidneys prevents adrenal fatigue.
