The goddess warrior Pallas Athena moves into Scorpio on Monday as we celebrate what would have been Yogi Bhajan’s 90th birthday. Pallas Athena holds the archetypal energy of the Daughter, born full-grown and in full armor out of the head of Zeus. She is associated with wisdom and warfare and is the patron goddess of heroic endeavors.
Pallas is interested in the pattern of the structure of things. As she dives into Scorpio, we’ll find ourselves strategizing solutions at an energetic level. The opportunity is to recognize that we traverse planes of existence – what seems daunting in the physical realm may not be affected in the etheric. Pallas also tends toward impartiality, so be aware of your emotions – let them fuel but not rule you.
Stellium & New Moon in Virgo…
Mercury comes home to Virgo on Thursday, with the Moon only hours behind, joining the Sun, Venus, Mars, and Juno in the sign. That’s a solid five planet stellium (plus an asteroid) bringing all our inner planets into play in the house that sets the patterns and pace of our lives. We’re aiming for efficiency and flow.
The Moon conjoins the Sun in the wee hours of Friday morning for a New Virgo Moon just in time for Guru Jagat’s birthday. With the other Virgo planets in close proximity and Uranus just a trine away, it’s a great time for change and new beginnings… making some dreams come true. With Mars, Venus and Juno in the mix, passion & romance are in the air. So set your intentions, and let go of outmoded habits. This will allow something new to come in… or for something old to be new again.
Walk your Talk…
Our transiting Virgo Sun, Venus and Mars all come into a direct trine with retrograde Uranus in Taurus this week. The Aquarian ruler inspires original thinking and radical action with a Taurean spotlight on the resources of the planet and its people. With the Sun in square with Ceres (the Environmental Goddess Mother) this week as well, we are challenged with what we ourselves are doing to show love for our planet and global community. It is we who determine the value of our “valuables” and “values” in their relationship and priority to one another. Are you walking your own talk?
