Why We Practice on the Solstice

Solstices are a magnetic powerhouse time and an opportunity to charge up, make quantum leaps, expand, and crystallize yourself.

Solstice windows release vast amounts of pranic energy. Imagine floods of radiant molecules that are discharged as the sun reaches its zenith or its depth. That’s what’s happening.

During these times, it’s ideal to do as much yoga as possible to strengthen your nervous system and open your 10 bodies to receive and absorb as much energy as possible.

With its 72,000 nerve endings, the human body is electrical. With the solstices (and eclipses, too) the amount of available and absorbable electricity increases drastically, so it’s worth paying attention to how you can use these power days for your highest prayers and biggest quantum leaps. 

And, whether you are conscious of it or not, your physical and electromagnetic bodies are naturally upgrading. When you start to tune in to the experience, you can get more intentional about your energetic adjustments, smooth and amplify the process.

 

 

This year’s solstice (Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, Winter Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere) takes place on the evening of June 20, 2021 or the early morning of June 21, 2021 - depending on your time zone.

Summer Solstice Preparation

A special class was given right before Summer Solstice. As a yogic practitioner, you must be revolutionary and happy. And you must take it seriously.

Happiness is a biochemical state just like compassion. When you balance your biochemistry, the natural outpouring of that balance is happiness and compassion. You don’t have to worry about it or look for it externally. If something happened during the day that didn’t feel good, then you have to get right with it before you go to bed so it doesn’t dump into your subconscious mind. Do some self-psychology to see what you need to balance your biochemistry. What doses of mantra, Kriya, and meditation do you need?

If you feel a bit of guilt at the end of the day, then that is an indication of misalignment with right action. Before you go to bed ask, am I right with myself? Rewind to the part of the day when you were misaligned and splice something of a higher vibration into your memory grid. From that point see yourself doing it that way. See yourself in right action going forward from there. This is self-correction. You can go to sleep in a more harmonious vibration. You have a technology to get yourself right.

Work on happiness in this class. True happiness is not about love and light. It’s the emanation of you and you being right with yourself. It’s so golden and magnetic that people want to be around you. That is prosperous and you get even more happy.

Your body must be fit to get in a harmonious state and feel happiness.

Cultivate Your Solar Energy

This is a special class and is wonderful for beginners. It was given leading up to Summer Solstice. It is one of the most powerful days of the year. In the Kundalini lineage, we understand that we can use solar energy to make major shifts in our vitality, creativity, and prosperity. Set the intention to really cultivate it in this class.

When you breathe deeper, you allow other people you interact with to breathe deeper. This is a profound yogic science principle. Use this technique in a practical way every day. Breathing ahead of time (before you enter a place) means that you alter the entire quantum field as well.

Gain a different perspective on happiness as you tune into the teaching in this session. It is in our innate makeup as human beings. It is biological and we are wired this way. The goal of this yogic practice is to take some things off of you that may be blocking you from your original state. This is the state of innocence. That doesn’t mean it is going to be easy. With the kundalini technology, the postures are meant to challenge your mental and emotional bodies. It comes up so you can clear it. This is the deep fatigue and stress that keeps you from plugging into your most innocent and open state of contentment. No matter what happens in your life, it is a life well lived. This is an invitation to use yogic science and generate the energy it takes to have dignity and grace no matter what is happening in your life.
