Merryman first heard the hum of the hive in 2002 while visiting a farm in the North Carolina mountains. Called to their honeyed ways, she became a state certified beekeeper within the year and has been walking in wombic mystery with these tiny beings of light ever since.

Merryman is the founder of Hive Design and Porcelain where she creates wedding monograms and duograms for betrothed couples. She visually celebrates the emerging vibration of two becoming one as she designs their invitations. To extend the use of the newlyweds’ design, she fires the artwork on porcelain to craft heirlooms that bless their homes through daily use.

Merryman is also an Astrologer with a passionate focus on vibrational astrology, a discipline which illuminates the sacred geometry of our existence through the harmonics. Most defining, she is shamanic practitioner in the tradition of the Melissae, where the quietly held traditions of the feminine principle have been passed down from mouth to ear for time immemorial. All of Merryman’s passions flow together as wisdom is earned by experiencing both life’s honey and sting and choosing to live in joy and creation.
