Inés José López is a Mixteca Medicine Woman born in a family of Traditional Healers in the Mountains of Oaxaca, México. She earned English while pursuing her American Dream in 1994. After several years of personal spiritual re-discovery, she decided to come back to her roots and fully commit to honor and serve the mission of her soul. Her life mission is to continue with the legacy of the wisdom of her Ancestors while facilitating healing processes that allow the power of the Spirit to flourish and create great balance and wellness.

In this session, under the sounds of percussion rhythms, we will be performing dynamics aimed to unlock the body and explore its infinite movement possibilities. We will end the workshop with pranayama breathing techniques to integrate everything and increase the healing effect of the dance. Come to celebrate and enjoy dancing through life.

Joana Pires, also known as Premananda is a Massage therapist, trained on different energetics and bodywork techniques. She was taught at Shri Vivek Integral Yoga and took courses both in India and Barcelona. Her workshops are the result of more than 15 years as a dance teacher, blended together with my professional experience and my passion for African Dances, with the sole purpose of guiding you through a thrilling route to connect body and spirit and celebrate life together.

Edie is a self-taught musician and a painter. She has released 5 studio albums. Her latest one “We are the ones” came out in January 2021. Edie came from the Netherlands and settled in LA at 20 to learn to become a musician by playing gigs and learning to record and produce at home. She later moved to New York where she has been creating art and music ever since.
Edie’s music has been described as Sunday morning dance vibes meets protest song meets medicine music. She experiments with different styles but her own unique signature always shines through.
