An acoustic set of music written and performed by Edie. These songs speak of the times we live in, some offer social critique, some are spiritual in nature. They offer nourishment for the mind and soul.

Edie is a self-taught musician and a painter. She has released 5 studio albums. Her latest one “We are the ones” came out in January 2021. Edie came from the Netherlands and settled in LA at 20 to learn to become a musician by playing gigs and learning to record and produce at home. She later moved to New York where she has been creating art and music ever since.
Edie’s music has been described as Sunday morning dance vibes meets protest song meets medicine music. She experiments with different styles but her own unique signature always shines through.

A spontaneous tantrik contemplative gnosis around the enlightening joke of a concept called stupid fresh wisdom.

Illuminati Congo dissolves the barrier between conscious and unconscious, reggae and hip hop, and light and dark, particle and wave, all the while in a playful musically unique way. Motivational, Meditational, Inspirational, yet hard, hood and from the heart. Energetic performances and unparalleled lyrical songs with thought-provoking and comedic underlays. Illuminati Congo is as much an illuminator movement as it is a band and brand.
