Clear the mind to make good decisions and treat yourself well. That is what self-care really means. If you take the self from the care, then you have care. You are caring. You bring a level of care to yourself, your family, your environment, and your community. That is what you’re cultivating with the kundalini technology. Drop from the aggressive rhetoric that self-care must be done in this perfect externalized process. The best care you can give yourself is revitalizing and recalibrating your glandular system. You’re going to be a much more non-reactive and generous person. That is the baseline of humanity. You are just a more caring person when your endocrine system is regulated. It’s the baseline of your consciousness, your success, and your prosperity.
If your glands don’t secrete properly, you will fritz out. It’s the same reactivity to your wins & losses that you’ll work on in this class. True success is communicating with yourself. Impress yourself and you’re going to have success. Try to one-up yourself from the day before. Take a page from David Bowie. To have that level of intimacy and focus with yourself, the glandular system has to be balanced otherwise you’re fatigued and all over the place. You want to have such successful communication with yourself that you actually lead others to have the same success.
When your glands aren’t secreting properly, you can’t elevate others. You’re going to feel more competitive. Your limbic brain is activated. You’re stingier because you don’t have enough resources to give. Your limbic brain is protecting you so that you have enough fuel to survive. The assumption is that this stinginess is a character flaw. The yogic science is that this is due to bio-chemical imbalances. There is a biochemistry to success as well. The creative force is altered by your hormones.
Success is not a personality thing like if you have the drive then that’s all it takes. You also need the machinery well-oiled underneath it all. You need the biochemical foundation to maintain the patterns of success. If your glandular system is secreting well then you are way more intelligent.

Your mind is a time machine that has been programed in ways that do not serve us and others.
The only way that we use the quantum power of the mind is to take patterns from the past that are habitual and destructive programs and project them and consecrate them into the future.  You can move past that and do the same thing with whatever you want.  The cycles that were created in the first seven years are recreated in every relationship.
