The word Naad means the rhythm/sound of consciousness. When you read aloud the words of an enlightened master you give yourself a consciousness boost, a self-empowerment. You’ll start to speak and think differently. Listening to your sound current reciting teachings enables you to give yourself an empowerment. Doing your sadhana, daily practice, activates the teachings and enables you move past being stuck. You command time rather than be a slave to time. “Any problem we have with reality is that we believe that nothing can change. That we are stuck in that particular coordinate of the emotional, co-motional, contextual experience forever.” With your practice you will be aware when you are stuck and able to maneuver yourself out of it quickly. The whole reason that we practice is so that we can command time through ourselves and not be a slave to time. The transmission between a teacher and a student becomes a way to give you the acceleration so that you are not “privy to the lord of time”. You can take and use the leassons of the teacher or time will be your teacher.
