If you catch yourself overanalyzing your circumstances, you might be operating off of a Judeo-Christian guilt/original-sin concept of “karma.” The reason something’s happening is that every single thought, word, & action starts a sequence of some kind which is then reflected in your behavior & then keeps reverberating in your physiological habituation. All yogis have done is observe this simple truth over millennia of sensitive observation. Basically, cause has an effect—that’s karma. You could also think of “karma” as a subconscious thought-loop that you are stuck in, so the solution is always just to meditate more to clean & reprogram the mind.
Train yourself to do things that give you more energy. Find a way to maneuver your day. What thoughts and concepts give you more energy as you move through time and space. You can make the life the you really want to have if you have enough energy.
