This Week in Astrology: Eyes on the Stars Feet on the Ground

Jupiter enters Capricorn on Monday, joining a stellium of Venus, Saturn, and Pluto plus Ceres & the South Node. With Jupiter in Sagittarius this past year, we’ve been expanding our horizons and what we want to accomplish. This coming year sets our feet on the ground and puts us to work on our purpose and position in the world. Aim yourself intentionally and with a sense of responsibility to those you are meant to affect.

Retrograde phases are phasing out, with Mercury’s post-shadow ending next Saturday, returning the planet to where it was when it turned retrograde on Halloween. Neptune turned direct last week but remains in a standstill through the week, as does Chiron as it prepares for its turnaround next week. We’re likely feeling sensitive and triggered, heightened by squares to the Sun and Jupiter.

A Sun/Pallas conjunction and a Venus/Juno square Monday and Tuesday may be putting us in an independent state of mind. We’re feeling called to our own higher purpose, which may mean stepping away from others to be sure we’re honoring ourselves. Set some boundaries and stay true to your calling.
