Grandmother Margaret Red Spider Woman Behan is an elder of the Southern and Northern Arapaho-Cheyenne clans. She is a fourth-generation descendant of an ancestor who was a survivor of the Sand Creek Massacre, a potter and beading artist, and the Founder of the Cheyenne Elders Council - a group of native healers and teachers. Behan is an original member of the International Council of 13 Grandmothers.
