Mercury comes to a halt this week as it prepares to turn retrograde next Sunday (Monday for some…). Mercury is currently in Pisces but will return to Aquarius during this retrograde period. Our minds and communication are in a more imaginative place in Pisces, so it’s a good time for being creative. The planet’s return to Aquarius will remind us of the bigger picture and our connection to humanity, as well as the need for a greater truth in our expression. How might your creative imagination serve the higher good?

Next weekend also sees the move of Mars from Sagittarius to Capricorn, where it will join the stellium of the South Node, Pallas, Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn. We’ll find our energies aimed toward purposeful action. Capricorn can also feel restrictive, and with all that Mars energy, we may find ourselves frustrated and bouncing off the walls a bit. Allow that there is a purpose even in this, and focus your energies consciously.

The Moon moves into Scorpio just in time for Valentine’s Day, carrying us into the depths of passion. Tune in to your own sexuality and the power that resides there. Partners are our playmates, but we exist as whole entities unto ourselves. Embrace your Self!
