Pagan myths speak of a solar deity who dies and is reborn with the turning year, echoing the soul’s own journey of descent, transformation, and resurrection. In Egypt, Ra sails through the night underworld to rise victorious at dawn, a living emblem of inner illumination. Christian mystics read the Sun as the Son—Christ, the divine spark embodied, the realized Self fashioned in God’s image. Yogic science locates this solar intelligence in the navel center—the wellspring of identity, projection, action, and will.
On the Solstice, when the Sun “stands still,” we gather for Kundalini Yoga to restore the whole system and then dive into a Healing Meditation that guides you to sense, feel, and inhabit the living presence of your own sacred Self.
