Class Description

The practice of Sitali Pranayam provides a quick and effective way to cultivate  coolness, ease, and peace. This powerful breath is a cooling tonic for the system, reducing excess heat from both the physical and emotional bodies. Drink the air in through the rolled tongue, releasing it through the nose -- adding soothing moisture to the system, while releasing toxins and heat. 

For the physical body, find reduction in built up heat leading to fevers, dis-ease, infection, and disruption to the adrenals and kidneys. The tongue may taste bitter at first as toxins are released. As you reach peak health through this breath, you may notice the tongue tastes sweeter, signifying an upgrade in your vitality and immunity. 

Pacify excess internal heat leading to frustration, anger, and fear. A propensity of this in the system often leads to reactivity -- displacing you from your true place of power, speech, and elevation. Minimize heavy emotions, clear the mind, and allow the heavens to work for you. Find a place of real peace to navigate whatever comes your way-- staying high, staying graceful, and using your words as blessings. 

With this breath practice, you gain the power of 10x more command over any heated situation. YOUR breath dictates the rhythm of the resolve bringing quicker, more easeful solutions-- and ultimately, more of what you want to experience.
