The holiday of Passover functions as a portal to the miraculous: an opportunity to traverse time and transcend space – in order to relive the experience of passage from slavery to freedom, from delusion to enlightenment, imbalance to equilibrium, from suffering to self – realization.

The sages say that the first night of Passover also holds the potential to support and commune with the Shechinah – the Divine Feminine – in Her return to the manifest world.

Indeed – Passover is a potent time – activated through our participation in a sacred ceremony called a ‘seder’ – which literally means ‘order’.

Inside of this new order, we use sacred chants, special foods, numerological sequences, meditative questions, and mystical answers so as to release what is out of balance, create more equilibrium, and birth a paradigm shift in our consciousness and our ways of being with this earth.

Through the Seder, it is believed that we can align with our individual and collective deliverance to the Promised Land. We take a much needed pause through the holiday from our relationship with daily routine and unconscious behavior; we step into the void, from which infinite possibility is born.

This year more than ever, there is relevance of this holiday and its rituals. A new order feels like it is almost being imposed on us; a call for freedom has overwhelmed our attachments to the comforts of dependence. And like the Israelites in Egypt – while we may not have believed we were ready for it, the time has come for us to take what really matters with us, release our past form, and step openly with faith and a commitment into the blueprint of a new world.
