About Dyal Kirtan
Dyal Kirtan (Paula Miley, MA, AMFT,) is a South Central Los Angeles native and Counselor specializing in healing trauma and building resilience. Throughout the years, she has worked and volunteered within the community to break the cycle of violence and foster change. She continues to teach within Krishna Kaur’s Y.O.G.A. for youth organization, a program which teaches yoga and yogic principles to at risk youth throughout L.A. and the world. By teaching, she strives to kindle the fire of individual transformation which elevates all within the collective consciousness. Dyal is an authentic and heart centered teacher who encourages students to live in loving kindness.
Dyal Kirtan’s classes cultivate strength and ananda in this invigorating morning class using Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. You’ll warm up with static contraction poses to engage the core and strengthen the power house psoas muscle. Kriyas that forge spiritual endurance to overcome stress, trauma and drama are often chosen, followed by meditations/mantras to magnify the human experience of love and compassion.
