DHARMA ART + YOGIC CREATIVTY

WITH RAGHUBIR

(While she’s in NYC showing at MoMA)

Raghubir is an artist, educator and yogi. Her interest as an artist is to open conversations about the intersection of spiritual practice and art practice and how artists have a responsibility to share their sensitivity and skills with the planet in any way that uplifts and transforms community, the environment, our children, and each other. As a yogi, she practices the tools and technology to become more aware of her own human condition and to raise her own consciousness and as a yoga teacher, she instructs and helps others to do the same. Raghubir believes that if she can assist in the growth and development of individuals, they in turn can contribute to the cumulative happiness of community. As a teaching artist at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and a recent MFA Graduate in Public Practice from OTIS School of Art and Design, she is living proof that practicing the teachings and technology of Kundalini Yoga can manifest and manage the flow of creativity.  www.raghubiryoga.com

In Blueprint for Creativity (as in Dharma Art), vision and operation are the same. You wouldn’t be “blocked” because there is no fear involved. There is no worry because judgment or failure does not exist. You would very simply make or do something and that would be that. In the right state of mind, an untrained person could produce a masterpiece. This capacity is available to everyone, but making “art” takes skill, study and practice….just like with everything else. Cultivate discipline, reverence, intuition and fearlessness and ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is possible.
