Through the investigative process on how to navigate her spinal injuries as a dancer, postpartum recovery as a single mother/survivor of domestic violence, PTSD, chronic depression and anxiety under the sociopolitical climate as a millennial alone in a foreign country, Melissa combines her research and studies in movement/somatics, psychology, reiki, biology, quantum physics, archeology and eastern medicine, into the systemic teachings of Kundalini Yoga and her own movement practice. She aims to share practical tools and be an example of how one can elevate and propel beyond sufferings and alchemize one’s life circumstance into its fullest potential.
